Get Desktop Notifications for RSS Alerts with a Simple Chrome Extension

Suppose we follow some important websites on a daily basis.now it is a bit tiresome to visit those sites for certain new news.so to get notified through my chrome extension would make my job easier.
step-1:-download slick RSS from the chrome web store
step-2:when we download we will be able to see an icon to the top-right of our chrome browser.Now click on the icon and manage and then give the url of the xml i.e the yahoo pipe created for the site.then add.u will then see the notifications
